Against the backdrop of policies such as the plastic ban, carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, the trend of "replacing plastics with paper" has become an industry development trend. Our company closely follows the trend of "energy conservation, carbon reduction, and green environmental protection". Using plant cellulose as the raw material, we collaborate with institutions like the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS and Qilu University of Technology, focusing on the research and development, as well as industrial production and application, of nanocellulose. We have broken through the technical bottleneck of continuous, stable, and low-cost preparation of micro/nanocellulose in industrial settings, achieving the green manufacturing of micro/nanocellulose. Currently, we have derived more than a dozen categories of nanocellulose products and have established a nanocellulose hydrogel production line with an annual capacity of 15,000 tons, becoming a driver in the application and research and development of green functional new materials.
Especially in the papermaking field, through the processes of adding to the papermaking pulp and coating on the paper surface, we endow the paper with properties such as high strength, water resistance, oil resistance, and high barrier. We have solved the key technical problems of paper products in the application of disposable food packaging, such as low strength, easy water absorption, and easy oil absorption, and have become a green alternative material for replacing plastics with paper and reducing the use of chemicals. At present, the packaging paper used for food complies with China's food safety and food contact materials regulations GB/T4806.8-2016 and GB9685-2016, the European Union's food contact materials regulation (EC) No1935/2004, and the US FDA food regulation 176.170. It has broad application prospects in the field of multifunctional food packaging paper that can replace waxed or laminated packaging, such as hamburger packaging paper, paper straws, and pulp molded products.
